What is Roller Derby?
Imagine high-speed skating, hard-hitting action, and non-stop strategy—that’s roller derby!
Roller derby is a full-contact sport on wheels, played on an oval track, where two teams battle it out to score points. It's fast, fierce, and packed with adrenaline!
How Does it Work?
Each game, called a bout, is played in short rounds known as jams.

One skater on each team—the Jammer—wears a star on their helmet and is the only player who can score points.

The other skaters—the Blockers—work together to stop the opposing Jammer while helping their own get through the pack.

Points are scored every time a Jammer laps members of the opposing team!
